HAAYA offer personal, social, educational, training and employment development opportunities tailored to the needs of our young people. Our activities include one-to-one work and a wide range of youth clubs, services including sports and arts clubs, study groups, training for young volunteers, Education and Employment and Training workshops, Mentoring and promoting healthy eating, sports initiatives, physical activity and substance misuse service. Furthermore they hold a wide range of community events

In order to build the new Youth and Community Centre, HAAYA have started fundraising. The total project will cost £200,000 and are looking to raise this by December 2014 and need help in doing so.

Few of the activities we are doing this summer to fundraise are

Community Funday :  Saturday 17th August

Snowdonia Challenge: Saturday 24th August

5K Rowing in the Thames challenge: Sunday 1st September

Football Tournament:  Saturday 28th September

HAAYA has a rich history of servicing the local community in the London Borough of Hounslow, Ealing and Richmond. Originally the work was focused at the needs of the Bangladeshi, Pakistani, African and Arab youths and addressing issues relating to disaffection and social exclusion, through a variety of educational, social, welfare and leisure activities as well as advice sessions.

Over the years HAAYA have opened and expanded their range of provisions and has worked in partnership with many youth organisations, charities and the local authority. They are forever increasing their work with the wider diverse community within the London borough of Hounslow.

The all new purpose built Youth and Community Centre will inspire, inform and develop future generations. It will become a hub in the heart of Hounslow (near Hounslow mainline station) and a sign that even in these times of difficultly, that there is still aspirations of building and developing better facilities and provisions for the young people in our community.
