Set-up in February 2002 and open to all, the Haaya Saturday School aims to tackle under-achievement in particular focusing on young people from an Asian and African background.

Educational performance

It has always aimed to improve the educational performance of young people by motivating them and working to build their confidence.

Oppotunity to Study

The school offers children an opportunity to revise and further study material they are already covering in school. Our committed tutors place an emphasis on core subjects such as: Mathematics, English and Science. Revision courses are also organised to prepare students for exams. The students’ age groups vary from 7 years to 18 years old.

Future Stand

The school continues to prosper, and we hope to develop its service range in the future.

Reflecting on my academic journey, I can confidently assert that the Saturday School initiative orchestrated by HAAYA played a pivotal role in my success, particularly in conquering the complexities of GCSE Maths. I cannot overstate the significance of their unwavering support and guidance. To anyone grappling with educational challenges, I unequivocally advocate seeking assistance from HAAYA

I enjoy coming to HAAYA it’s a place I can hang out with my friends.

I really had fun with the workshops and learnt more about the environment.

HAAYA is great! I especially enjoy the residential trips. I remember one time we went to Brenscombe outdoor centre and we were taught how to drive a speed boat, I loved it!
